Someone emailed me the info that a local boy, from Cape Coral with DS was chosen (200 chosen from 2,000) to be on the big screen in times square. The big screen played a video of children and adults to promote the month of October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month. You can see the video here: It is amazing!! I contacted his family via FB, and we immediately hit it off.. It is so nice to be able to talk to another Mom about Dr's appointments, etc.. and bounce idea's off each other. I called Barbie as soon as I left Jesse's last ENT (ear,nose,throat) appt. Dr. Orjuela recommended Jesse have tubes put in his ears.. Bentyn also is seeing a ENT and was recommended the same, as well as having a sleep study done..

It was amazing Jesse usually pulls everyone's hair, (Jonah's long beautiful curly hair his favorite). With Bentyn he just stroked his hair without pulling it. He knows Bentyn "BIG'' is his Bud, good job Jesse..
